Gage wins the NASA Iowa Space Grant Consortium Internship to make Autonomous Systems more robust

Gage’s project (Multi Loop Control of Complex Autonomous Systems) aims to design and implement the guidance and control systems for various autonomous vehicles. Multi-loop controls are used to calculate a trajectory that leads to autonomous vehicles’ desired positions, and then calculates the required actuation commands to reach the desired positions. The work ahead lies in verifying the mathematical model of the vehicles, and then implementing various control theories and algorithms including adaptive control and trajectory tracking control.
